Detailed Surveys

In Ireland, the only recognised standard for surveys of second hand properties is the SCSI Type 2 survey. This is suitable for over 95% of second hand properties for sale and is the standard used by Building Surveyors, Engineers and Architects who conduct surveys.

At Get House Survey, our surveys far exceed this standard in several areas. Most notably is that each issue identified on our surveys gets a Condition Rating from 1-3 with 3 being the most serious.

This makes our reports the easiest in the country to read and understand and it leaves no guesswork as to how urgent each issue is.

So after you receive your survey you’ll be able to either proceed with confidence, or if the surveyor does identify serious issues, you’ll have the information you need to take the next step.

Today, over 50% of our written reports are complete on the same day as the survey and a further 40% the following day. This has enabled us to keek our total turnaround time as the quickest in Ireland.
